With more than 50 beers on tap, all served in their proper glasses, Resto is a great place to stop and have a drink and a bite. Located on 29th street between Park and Lexington Avenues, the pressed tin ceiling and the open and airy feeling for the small space give Resto a comfortable and great neighborhood vibe.

Since no reservations are accepted, grab a beer and wait to be seated, as locals clamor for a taste of the Belgian comfort food. Try the Crispy Pig's Ear Salad ($12) with chicory, coco beans, soft egg, tomato confit and herbs. An order of frites is also a must-have, as the dipping sauces are a tasty treat, like Mayo and Onion, Sweet Chili, Lime Pickle, Lemon and Smoked Paprika ($6).

More main courses, try the seasonal Day Boat Cod with beets, preserved lemon, pistachio and guanciale ($26) for a lighter meal, or the classic moules and frites with flavorful parsley, garlic and anchovy, blanche de bruxelles, garlic and orange zest, debal curry, coconut milk & cilantro debal curry, coconut milk & cilantro. Also worth a try is the Hamburger toped with a fried egg, gruyere cheese, red onion, pickle, mayonnaise and French fries ($15). Mmmmmm.

If you have room for dessert, try the Fruit Beer Float with framboise lambic and vanilla gelato for $9 or the sweet Butterscotch Parfait ($8) butterscotch pudding, banana, peppercorn scone crumble and whipped cream.

Also keep in mind that Resto offers a tasty brunch menu and a late night menu with the popular Tete De Cochon- a sliced sandwich with curry, spicy aioli and pickled vegetable. Request it during regular hours too.
